The World Mental Health Organisation is a platform which enables urgently needed funds to be provided to a variety of charities, programs and initiatives assisting or supporting Gold Coasters suffering with poor mental health on the Gold Coast.
Founder Dan Carruthers saying the WMHO cuts through red tape, enabling assistance to be provided when it’s needed.
“We set up this charity to help the grass roots people get the help they need through amazing, local, supporting initiatives programs and organisations here on the Gold Coast.”
The organisation has already assisted a host of local projects which have in turn changed and on occasion saved the lives of Gold Coasters doing it tough, with this year’s ten thousand dollar contribution from the Usher Cup #10ForTen charity drive set to assist many more Gold Coasters in 2023.,

The selection of the ten charities was performed in collaboration with challenge-based charity App Fund My Challenge, which assists to amplify the message, reach and awareness for non-for-profit organisations. Fund My Challenge utilises a strict vetting process prior to onboarding charities and causes which ensures Usher Cup is only working with charities that are committed to raising and distributing funds directly to where they are needed most, as quickly as possible.
